Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ripper Stallone (ranked 3970 p4p, 5277 weight class) and Pull Plugger (ranked 380 p4p, 439 weight class). Ripper Stallone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Stallone throws a sloppy head kick

and Plugger decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Stallone's guard.
Stallone is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Plugger dives into side control.

Stallone is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Stallone pushes Plugger away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Plugger gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Plugger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stallone keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stallone is pushing Plugger's head away, looking to escape. Plugger manages to hold on to the position though.

Plugger wants to control the pace but Stallone is squirming around nicely.

Stallone throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Stallone enables Plugger to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stallone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Stallone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Plugger on the ground.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Plugger in particular looking to stall.

Plugger thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Stallone moves into range and clinches up with Plugger.
Plugger tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Plugger on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Stallone is controlling Plugger's posture.
Plugger wants to control from the top but Stallone keeps moving.

Stallone is looking for a triangle here but Plugger uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Stallone is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Plugger asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Our spies down at at London MMA Club inform us that Plugger has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Plugger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stallone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stallone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
