Adams closes the distance and clinches.
Adams tries to score a body lock takedown but Cozad shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Adams blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Cozad gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Adams.

Cozad is pressed up against the cage. Adams has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cozad down to the mat. Cozad avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Adams has cracked Cozad with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Adams lands another huge swinging hook and Cozad tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Cozad, before Adams can land any more shots!

Alexander Adams decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
