Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nick Johnson (ranked 4114 p4p, 3577 weight class) and Aleksi Heimo (ranked 396 p4p, 356 weight class). Johnson comes to the ring accompanied by On March The Saints. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Johnson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Johnson dodges the punch combination from Heimo.
Johnson moves away from the strike by Heimo.
A little feinted left hand from Johnson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Johnson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Heimo defends well and Johnson ends up having to push Heimo into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Despite the aggression on Heimo's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Heimo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Johnson back to the ropes. Heimo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Heimo might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
