Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Kinney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Revene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kinney might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Say It Ain't So. Revene comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Philadelphia Eagles kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Mark Revene has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Leonard Kinney's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Revene! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kinney closes the distance and clinches. Kinney manages to break the clinch.
No luck for Kinney with that takedown attempt. A leg kick checked by Kinney. Kinney throws a head kick but Revene moves out of range.
Kinney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Revene throws a head kick but Kinney moves out of range.
Kinney scores with a jab. Revene acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Kinney getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Revene steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Kinney. That one must have hurt. Kinney lands a head kick!
Kinney tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Revene swivels and escapes. Revene bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kinney is trying to get back to half guard. Revene decides to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinney avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Revene shoots in and drives through. Kinney sprawls well. Kinney gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Revene's corner is telling him to maintain position. Revene's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Revene decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kinney, up you get! Kinney misses with a takedown and Revene counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leonard Kinney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kinney is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Revene stands up out of the half guard. Revene throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kinney. Kinney throws a right hand that Revene ducks under and follows up with a left that Revene also avoids with ease. Revene decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Revene not doing much here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. I looks like Revene might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Revene lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Revene winds up and cracks Kinney with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Revene content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Revene looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Revene is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kinney! Kinney is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Revene looking to control and managing it successfully. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Revene with shots to the head and body - Kinney looks very uncomfortable down there. Revene lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Kinney looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Revene dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Revene drives through with a takedown into guard. Revene won't allow Kinney to get back to his feet. Revene is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Revene gets to his feet - Kinney follows without any prompting. Revene shoots in for a takedown but Kinney shows good takedown defense. Revene fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Revene misses with a takedown attempt - Kinney sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Leonard Kinney has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Revene. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kinney is looking to land body kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinney misses with a takedown and Revene counters with a takedown into side control. Revene has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Revene scoring with punches and elbows. Revene taking a breather here. Kinney is trying to control Revene's posture but Revene avoids it. Revene is putting a hurting on Kinney here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Revene grinds an elbow into Kinney's temple. Revene in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Kinney is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
