Duranto throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Duranto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

It looked like Li wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
We've been informed that Duranto has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Duranto lands a big head kick that sends Li tumbling to the mat! Duranto takes a step backwards and waves Li back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Oh Li is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Duranto lands a beautiful left hook that drops Li. Li tries to recover but Duranto is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Li lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Roberto Duranto decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
