Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kevin mckinney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by Ready 4 War. mckinney has chosen kiss my country ass as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. kevin mckinney is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Khan is trying to get an arm triangle but mckinney is defending well.
mckinney parries the strikes from Khan easily there. Khan is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable mckinney to escape.
mckinney takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Khan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Khan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
mckinney really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Khan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Khan swings around for an armbar but mckinney sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Khan's guard.

mckinney is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

mckinney wants to get up but he can't break Khan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
