We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Klimenko tries to keep at a distance but VonRueden has taken the fight into the clinch.
VonRueden gets control of Klimenko's arms and successfully pulls guard. VonRueden will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
VonRueden has his foot on Klimenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Klimenko works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Klimenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and VonRueden has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Klimenko has managed to get both his arms back between VonRueden's legs - danger averted.
VonRueden is looking for a triangle but Klimenko pushes his legs off easily.
Klimenko content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because VonRueden has locked up a guillotine! VonRueden's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Klimenko is holding on here and VonRueden must be using up a lot of energy. Klimenko has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! VonRueden gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
