King takes one to the chin there.
King looks for a takedown but Amado sprawls well.
Nice body punch from Amado.
Amado bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps King's head backwards.
Amado tests King's chin there with a solid looking shot.
King moves to clinch but Amado breaks away
and Amado counters with a straight right hand.
King throws a nice outside leg kick.

King closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - King lands in his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Amado is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

King throws an elbow that misses. Amado uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in King's guard. Nice move by Amado!

Amado gets to his feet. King looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
King throws a nice looking combination but Amado bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It looked like Amado wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The fighters circling - Amado throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Amado connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between King's hands.

King looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Amado is fending him off so far but King persists. Nope, Amado circles away and we're back to standing.

King is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Amado's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Amado is controlling King's position as best he can from this difficult position.

King drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Amado dives on top into guard.

King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Amado connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.
