Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Charles Chester (ranked 4235 p4p, 6347 weight class) and Jasper Harrington (ranked 413 p4p, 495 weight class). Chester comes into the arena with Rolling, Limp Bizkit blaring out of the sound system. Charles Chester has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Charles Chester! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jasper Harrington! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chester enables Harrington to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chester manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Harrington drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Chester manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Harrington has Chester in his guard.

Harrington has his foot on Chester's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chester works his way back into a safe position though. Chester tries to free his leg and advance position but Harrington is retaining full guard. Chester might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Chester sitting in guard, not really doing much. Chester postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
 Harrington is rocked!
Harrington throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Chester escapes and throws Harrington's legs to the side, diving into side control! Chester cracks Harrington with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Chester immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Harrington is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Chester!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles Chester! Charles Chester decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
