Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Chakree Somchai (ranked 5848 p4p, 5403 weight class) and Scott Trip (ranked 466 p4p, 450 weight class). Scott Trip is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

and Somchai counters with a nice uppercut.

Somchai swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Trip takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Trip is still on wobbly legs! Can Somchai finish him?
A jab from Somchai finds it's way through Trip's defenses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chakree Somchai dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!
Somchai cracks Trip with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Trip is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Trip is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Trip could not beat the count!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Chakree Somchai!
A relieved looking Chakree Somchai thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
