Lane with a poor takedown
and Tsavieva counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Lane has his takedown stuffed
and Tsavieva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lane takes a jab right on the kisser.
Lane fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nikolai Tsavieva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Lane.

Lane shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tsavieva is trying to defend but Lane finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Lane looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Tsavieva works his way to full guard. Good work.
Lane wants to control from the top but Tsavieva keeps moving.

Lane is looking to stand up but Tsavieva won't let him.

Tsavieva is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Lane looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Tsavieva wants to stand but Lane has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lane lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Lane trying to control but Tsavieva is working from the bottom.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tsavieva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Tsavieva prevents Lane from standing back up.
Lane is refusing to be controlled, as Tsavieva sits in half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Nikolai Tsavieva showed his dominance in that final round.
