The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Spilter blocks the low kick.
Spilter tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Crusher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Crusher takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Crusher throws a right hand that Spilter ducks under and follows up with a left that Spilter also avoids with ease.

No joy there for Crusher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Crusher moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Spilter, as that shot connected.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Spilter shoots in looking for a takedown. Crusher tries to sprawl out of it but Spilter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Crusher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Spilter is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
