Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Avila Alvarez (ranked 15059 p4p, 1502 weight class) and Sharven Sheven (ranked 741 p4p, 215 weight class). Alvarez comes to the cage accompanied by Barbarian by The Darkness. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

Alvarez closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sheven to the mat! Sheven manages to get full guard.
Sheven scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Sheven stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Sheven wants it to stay on the feet.
Alvarez drives through with a takedown into guard.
Sheven is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Sheven leaves Alvarez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Sheven looks to land a left hand but Alvarez moved out of range nicely.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Sheven! Alvarez is backing up but he can't get away as Sheven lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Alvarez and ends the fight. Great knockout.

Sharven Sheven seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
