Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Principo Adam (ranked 2351 p4p, 1550 weight class) and Nario Gwan (ranked 309 p4p, 211 weight class). Adam comes to the cage accompanied by Dona Eis Requiem. Principo Adam could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nario Gwan's chin.

Adam drags the fight down to the ground.
Adam is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gwan tries to kick Adam off but Adam keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Gwan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Adam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Adam is trying to control the action in half guard but Gwan is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Adam is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gwan can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gwan wants to stand back up but Adam manages to pass into side control.
Gwan is trying to control Adam's posture but Adam avoids it.

Adam is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Gwan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Adam gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Gwan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Adam lets go of the hold and Gwan can pop his arm back in it's socket.

In his post fight interview, Principo Adam started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
