Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joseph Buttlicker (ranked 4822 p4p, 6645 weight class) and Nobel Paxinos (ranked 516 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Buttlicker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nobel Paxinos!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Darius Henderson.

Buttlicker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Paxinos.
Buttlicker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Paxinos cracks Buttlicker with a right hand to the side of the head.
Buttlicker wants to clinch up but Paxinos keeps it at a distance.

Paxinos has closed the distance and engaged Buttlicker in a clinch.
Buttlicker misses with a short punch on the inside.
Buttlicker is trying to drag Paxinos to the mat but Paxinos just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buttlicker throws a head punch that misses.
Paxinos digs a right hand underneath Buttlicker's ribcage. Buttlicker let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Buttlicker tries to break the clinch but Paxinos is controlling the position.

Paxinos jumps into guard, dragging Buttlicker to the mat.

Paxinos wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Buttlicker looking to sit in guard and control but Paxinos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Buttlicker wants to sweep here but Paxinos controlling him for the moment.

Paxinos is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Buttlicker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Paxinos stands up and waves to Buttlicker to follow him.

Paxinos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Buttlicker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Paxinos somewhat.

Buttlicker dives in and scores a takedown into Paxinos's guard.

Buttlicker is really struggling to control Paxinos but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Paxinos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Paxinos is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Paxinos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Buttlicker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Buttlicker slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Paxinos shoots in for a takedown but Buttlicker shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Joseph Buttlicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nobel Paxinos.
Paxinos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Buttlicker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Buttlicker connects with a body shot.

Paxinos moves into the clinch.

Buttlicker manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Paxinos closes the distance and clinches up with Buttlicker, looking for a takedown. Paxinos pushes Buttlicker against the cage but Buttlicker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Paxinos.
Buttlicker is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Paxinos.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Buttlicker.

Buttlicker shoots in and gets a takedown into Paxinos's guard.
Paxinos has a closed guard, preventing Buttlicker from standing up.
Paxinos striking off his back but it's not causing Buttlicker any problems.
Buttlicker throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Paxinos works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Paxinos will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Joseph Buttlicker will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Buttlicker is trying to pull guard but Paxinos has him pressed against the cage.

Buttlicker has Paxinos pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Buttlicker pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Paxinos tumbling to the mat - Buttlicker dives into Paxinos's guard.

Paxinos pushes Buttlicker off and gets back to his feet.
Paxinos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buttlicker as he jumps to the side.

Buttlicker moves into the clinch.
Buttlicker has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Paxinos is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Buttlicker drags the fight down to the ground.
Buttlicker is adopting a defensive guard.
Buttlicker is trying to keep Paxinos in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Paxinos is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Paxinos wants to pass the guard but Buttlicker is keeping the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Paxinos slaps away a takedown attempt from Buttlicker, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joseph Buttlicker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Paxinos shoots in but Buttlicker avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Paxinos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Buttlicker, pushing him back against the cage.
Buttlicker struggles to land a body shot inside as Paxinos controls his hands.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Paxinos is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Buttlicker can't fight it off and eventually Paxinos manages to take the fight to the floor. Buttlicker looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Buttlicker looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Paxinos has picked Buttlicker up and slammed him! Buttlicker can't keep hold of the triangle and Paxinos manages to pass to side control!

Paxinos is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Buttlicker has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Paxinos is on him like a limpet, forcing Buttlicker back against the cage.
Buttlicker has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Paxinos after a bit of a struggle.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joseph Buttlicker will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Buttlicker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Buttlicker wants it to stay on the feet.
Paxinos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Buttlicker circles away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Buttlicker cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Paxinos is squirming around, avoiding Buttlicker's attempts to control the action.

Buttlicker working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Buttlicker fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Paxinos is in a horrible position here. Buttlicker smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Buttlicker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Joseph Buttlicker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Well, if Buttlicker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Paxinos is trying to stand up here but Buttlicker is controlling him well.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Buttlicker pulls Paxinos in close to his closed guard and prevents Paxinos from doing any damage or advancing position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Buttlicker pushes Paxinos off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Buttlicker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In defeat, Nobel Paxinos stepped up to the mic, saying 'The ref is garbage, i wasn't done!'.
