Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jan Nycz (ranked 1995 p4p, 24417 weight class) and Thanos Eternal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Thanos Eternal was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Nycz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Eternal on his heels. He'll look to pass Eternal's guard now, I'm sure.
Nycz stands up over Eternal, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Eternal wants to get back to his feet but Nycz is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eternal can do anything to dispel that myth.

Nycz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Eternal tries to kick Nycz off but Nycz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nycz seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Nycz takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Nycz winds up and cracks Eternal with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Eternal tries to kick Nycz off but Nycz keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Nycz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nycz uses his free foot to push down on Eternal's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Eternal.
Nycz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Eternal is squirming around, avoiding Nycz's attempts to control the action.

Eternal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nycz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee warns Eternal that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
