Powers is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Flint's half guard.
Flint is looking to control Powers's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Flint avoid being mounted?
Flint gets full guard.

Powers really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Flint. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Flint bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Powers's guard.

Flint postures up and lands a big shot to Powers's brow.
Flint sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Powers's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Flint is looking to advance position but Powers won't allow it.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Flint unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Powers wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Flint celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
