Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Cass (ranked 24779 p4p, 6865 weight class) and Snapple Grapple (ranked 548 p4p, 512 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Cass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Snapple Grapple!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.

Cass moves into the clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Cass manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Grapple throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Cass has his foot on Grapple's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grapple works his way back into a safe position though.

Cass really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Grapple is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Cass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Grapple on the ground.

Grapple is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cass sees it coming and defends easily.
Grapple is looking to take a break and control but Cass is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Cass on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Grapple is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cass tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Grapple is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cass doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Grapple.
Still in half guard, Grapple seems content to control.
Grapple is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Grapple is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cass is just riding it out for now. Grapple eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grapple wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cass keeps working.
Grapple slips a nice elbow through Cass's hands, connecting with Cass's forehead.

Grapple is taking a breather. Cass says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Snapple Grapple dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Grapple throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cass sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Grapple doesn't manage to clinch there - Cass circles away.
A swing and a miss from Grapple.
Cass wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Grapple enables Cass to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Grapple manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Grapple is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Cass trying to stand up but can't free himself from Grapple's guard.

Cass got a little sloppy there for a moment and Grapple has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cass has managed to get both his arms back between Grapple's legs - danger averted.

Grapple looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Cass is posturing up here but Grapple has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Cass tries to roll out but it's too tight and Cass has to tap! Slick submission there by Grapple!
