Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coke lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


It looks like Kile Kelly has been cut.
Kelly circles away from the clinch attempt.

I looks like Coke might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Kelly has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Coke's lack of action.

Coke wants to control but Kelly is keeping him busy.

Coke is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kelly doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coke.

Coke closes the distance and clinches up with Kelly, looking for a takedown. Coke pushes Kelly against the cage but Kelly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Kelly throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Coke darts in and clinches Kelly up against the cage.
Kelly fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Kelly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kelly fails with a takedown attempt.
Kelly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coke was well out of range. Poor timing from Kelly.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coke fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Coke gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kelly counters with a right hand to the body.
Kile Kelly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kelly drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Coke gets the underhooks and prevents it.

and Kelly finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Coke drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Coke throws a strike but Kelly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kelly has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Coke tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Kelly won't allow Coke to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Coke decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kelly's guard.
Coke has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Kelly throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Coke's waist but Coke gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kelly off to one side.
Coke stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kelly.
Coke shoots in for a double leg but Kelly sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coke as he avoids it easily.
Coke tries to clinch but Kelly moves out of range.

Kelly tries to keep at a distance but Coke has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kelly drops down looking for an ankle pick but Coke pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kile Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Coke changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kelly looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kelly prevents Coke from improving position.
Coke is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kelly's shoulder. That is not cool.

Coke wants to control but Kelly is keeping him busy.
Kelly is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Coke has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Kelly is trying to work for a sweep but Coke has mounted him!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Ken Coke is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Kelly breaks Coke's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Ken Coke comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Coke has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
