Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nick Dormmamu (ranked 6612 p4p, 25333 weight class) and Wekar Robson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wekar Robson has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Nick Dormmamu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Dormmamu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wekar Robson!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.

Dormmamu has closed the distance and engaged Robson in a clinch.
Robson has Dormmamu pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dormmamu manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Dormmamu manages to break the clinch.

Dormmamu moves into range and clinches up with Robson.

Dormmamu has clasped his hands together around Robson's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Robson throws Dormmamu to one side and escapes!

Dormmamu has his foot on Robson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Robson works his way back into a safe position though.
Robson is fighting to break Dormmamu's control of his arms but Dormmamu is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Horrible takedown attempt by Robson or perhaps it was just good defense by Dormmamu, which made it look bad.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dormmamu fakes the leg kick and cracks Robson in the body.
Robson looks winded!
Robson tries to clinch there but Dormmamu circles away.
Dormmamu feints a jab promting Robson to slip. Dormmamu then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Robson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

It looks like Wekar Robson has been cut.

Dormmamu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robson to the ground. Dormmamu is now in Robson's guard.

Robson wriggles free and stands up.

Dormmamu rushes Robson and presses him up against the cage.
Robson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Dormmamu smiles and moves away.
Nick Dormmamu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wekar Robson.
Dormmamu throws a right hand that Robson ducks under and follows up with a left that Robson also avoids with ease.

Dormmamu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Robson to the ground. Dormmamu is now in Robson's guard.

Dormmamu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Robson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Robson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dormmamu was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Dormmamu stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dormmamu wants it to stay on the feet.

Robson goes for a double leg but Dormmamu avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dormmamu continues to drive forward.

Dormmamu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Robson wants to sweep but no luck.

Dormmamu is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Dormmamu has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Dormmamu gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dormmamu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Dormmamu is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Dormmamu stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Dormmamu is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Robson controls Dormmamu momentarily but Dormmamu frees himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Dormmamu controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Dormmamu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Robson gets caught napping as Dormmamu dives in and scores a takedown. Robson manages to retain guard.

Dormmamu decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Dormmamu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dormmamu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Robson wants to get back to his feet but Dormmamu is dominant here and he's now got Robson's back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Dormmamu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dormmamu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Robson sneaks out the side door and pushes Dormmamu away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

A little feinted left hand from Dormmamu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Dormmamu has managed to clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Robson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Robson takes an elbow to the temple.

Dormmamu breaks from the clinch.

Dormmamu clinches up against the cage.

Dormmamu jumps guard.
Nick Dormmamu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dormmamu is pulling down on Robson's head to control his posture.
Robson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dormmamu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Robson defends well.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nick Dormmamu.
Well Dormmamu has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
