The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson avoids the body shot from Tennant.

Tennant has hold of Richardson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Richardson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Richardson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tennant is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Richardson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tennant's back instead.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Oh but Tennant is tightening it up a little... Richardson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Richardson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Richardson taps out! nice BJJ there by Tennant!
