With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Josh Haynes Haynes!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.

Richards throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Haynes.
Haynes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Richards defends it nicely.
Richards is looking to counter punch.

Haynes darts in and clinches Richards up against the cage.
Richards misses with a knee strike.

Haynes jumps into guard, dragging Richards to the mat.
Richards would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Haynes wants to get back to his feet but Richards is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Richards has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Haynes is working away from the top position though.

Haynes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richards. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Haynes is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Richards manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Haynes keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Haynes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Haynes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Richards sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Haynes somewhat.

Richards tries to keep at a distance but Haynes has taken the fight into the clinch.
Richards wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Haynes avoids the elbow strike from Richards, against the cage.
Haynes looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Haynes misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Richards lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Richards lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Haynes backs up against the cage.

Haynes gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Haynes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Richards throws a shot to the body.
Richards tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Richards shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haynes pinned against the cage. Haynes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Richards will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Haynes looks for a takedown but Richards sprawls well.
Haynes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Richards pinned against the cage. Richards gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That was a close round but I would say that Roddy Richards will probably get the nod.

Haynes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Richards but Richards pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Richards throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Haynes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Haynes is breathing heavily.

Richards lands a left and a right that send Haynes crashing to the mat, dazed. Richards thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Richards scores with a jab to the body.
Richards throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Haynes's waist but Haynes gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Richards off to one side.
Richards swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Richards scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Haynes doesn't seem bothered though.
Richards throws a solid leg kick but Haynes takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Richards.

Richards throws a nice looking combination but Haynes bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Haynes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Richards as he avoids it easily.

Richards is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Haynes can do to turn this around?

Richards throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Richards throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Richards!

Haynes is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
