Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin throws a looping overhand right but Amaral ducks down to avoid it.
Amaral on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Amaral shoots in but Martin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Martin tries to close the distance and clinch but Amaral swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Martin rushes Amaral and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Amaral gets control of Martin's arms and successfully pulls guard. Amaral will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Martin wants to get up but he can't break Amaral's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Amaral is looking to sinch up a triangle. Martin throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Amaral's body to avoid the submission. Amaral has instead reached around Martin's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Amaral arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
