Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dah Winner (ranked 2327 p4p, 2403 weight class) and Pistol Pete (ranked 311 p4p, 317 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pete showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Winner .
It seemed like Pete was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Winner falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Pete to counter with a crisp jab.
Winner misses with a few strikes there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pete ! But no joy.
Dah Winner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Winner tries a head kick but it misses.
Winner ducks under a wild hook from Pete .
Winner misses with a hook. Pete ducked under it nicely.
Winner needs to keep his hands up - Pete had a free shot at his head there.
Pete misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pete is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pete takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Pete throws a hook to the side of Winner 's head but Winner sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Winner fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A nice combination there by Winner .
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Pete counters with a crisp one two that drops Winner ! Pete thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Winner to his feet! Winner is in big trouble!

Winner looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Winner lands a nice shot to the body.
Winner throws a series of punches but Pete moves out of range.
Despite the aggression on Pete 's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Winner connects with a looping right hand.
Winner is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Pete ! But no joy.
A swing and a miss from Pete .

Oooooh!!! Winner has knocked Pete down with a huge combo! Winner steps away and waves a wobbly Pete back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Pete is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Winner closes the distance and clinches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Winner .
Pete seems to have recovered his senses.
Pete fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Winner breaks from the clinch.
Winner lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Pete at a distance.
A punch combination from Winner misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pete doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Winner bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Pete 's head.
