And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hutchens stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Hutchens misses with a two punch combination.
A little jabbing left from Penn on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Hutchens throws a right and a left that Penn avoids nicely.
Penn slips a jab and a cross from Hutchens.
Hutchens throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice defenses there by Penn.
A jab from Hutchens does it's job there.

Penn fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hutchens to the ground. Penn is now in Hutchens's guard.
Penn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hutchens's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Penn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hutchens works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Penn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hutchens avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hutchens knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Penn on the ground.
Penn postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Penn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hutchens's head.

Penn stands up over Hutchens, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Penn drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Penn jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Penn postures up and lands a big shot to Hutchens's brow.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Penn's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Penn trying to control the position from guard on top but Hutchens is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Penn loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Penn lands a couple of digs.
Penn makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Hutchens is rocked!
Hutchens will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Penn gets to his feet and stands over Hutchens, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hutchens felt that one! Penn unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hutchens from any more punishment!
