Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joyner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Victor.
Joyner connects with a body shot that sends Victor's belly button to the back.
Victor throws a head kick but Joyner moves out of range.
Joyner looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Joyner scores with a crisp jab that stopped Victor in his tracks.
Victor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Joyner's waist but Joyner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Victor off to one side.
Joyner comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Victor will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caio Victor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Joyner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Victor manages to avoid it.
Joyner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Victor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Victor drives through with a takedown into Joyner's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Victor drops back looking for a leg! Joyner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Joyner manages to kick Victor off! Victor jumps back into Joyner's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Victor thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Victor is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Victor sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Joyner's guard.

Victor seems to be working for a kimura but Joyner defends the submission attempt.

Victor is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Victor wants to pass to mount but Joyner is defending the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Joyner can do anything to dispel that myth.

Victor in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Joyner tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Victor!
