The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana wants to clinch.
Mbakur avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mbakur tests Montana's chin there with a solid looking shot.

It looks like Tony Montana has been cut.
Mbakur throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mbakur rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Montana moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Montana throws out a loose jab but Mbakur uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mbakur was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mbakur lands with an overhand left.
Montana wants to clinch up but Mbakur keeps it at a distance.
Montana bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mbakur staying out of range there.
Montana walks into a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mbakur feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Montana sprawling to the canvas! Montana rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Mbakur finish him?!

Montana is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Montana counters with a left and a right that stings Mbakur.
Mbakur lands an uppercut, right on the button! Montana tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
