Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Banger Jones!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Jones gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones is looking to take a break and control but Epstein is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Epstein's coaches at Bad Education have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Jones is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Epstein to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Epstein shrugs it off.

Jones has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Epstein is trying to keep an underhook but Jones manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Jones sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Jones cracks Epstein with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jones tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Banger Jones has got the better of the ground game so far.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Banger Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Jones takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Epstein was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Jones misses with an attempted mid kick.
Epstein lands with a nice body punch.

Alfie Epstein has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Epstein comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Alfie Epstein showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Jones has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
