The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopes Jr fails with a takedown attempt.
Silva throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Silva scores with the left hand. Lopes Jr knows he should have avoided that one.
It looks like Aury Lopes Jr has been cut.
Lopes Jr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Silva.
Lopes Jr throws a quick counter kick to the body but Silva avoids it.
Lopes Jr fails with a takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lopes Jr gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Silva.
Silva connects with a right hand. Lopes Jr shakes it off.

and Silva counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
