Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Stevenson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Junior Kampmann!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Steve Stevenson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stevenson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Stevenson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Junior Kampmann has been cut.
Kampmann shoots for a double leg takedown but Stevenson sprawls well. He's pushed Kampmann's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stevenson looks to score with a jab to the body but Kampmann is just out of range.
No luck for Kampmann with that takedown attempt.

Steve Stevenson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Kampmann.
Kampmann misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kampmann has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Stevenson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Kampmann has a takedown stuffed.
Kampmann feints and as Stevenson raises his hands in defense, Kampmann changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kampmann won't allow Stevenson to get back to his feet.
Kampmann postures up in Stevenson's guard and throws a big left but Stevenson blocks it.
Kampmann looking to sit in guard and control but Stevenson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kampmann takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Kampmann avoids a punch combination nicely.
A left and a right from Stevenson both land. Nice combination.
Stevenson stalks Kampmann and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kampmann's face. Kampmann staggers backwards, shaken.
Kampmann is rocked!
Kampmann slips a jab and a cross from Stevenson.
Kampmann is still on wobbly legs! Can Stevenson finish him?
Stevenson flashes Kampmann a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Kampmann's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Kampmann crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Stevenson punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
