The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dicky stalks Gracie and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gracie's face. Gracie staggers backwards, shaken.
Dicky looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Dicky circles away easily
and Dicky counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Gracie manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dicky tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dicky to the ground. Dicky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
It looked like Dicky wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Gracie is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Dicky has his hands clasped together but Gracie extends and breaks Dicky's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Gracie.
