Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Smashem (ranked 4794 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gennadi Garov (ranked 5058 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky Smashem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gennadi Garov!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smashem fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Garov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Smashem changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Garov tries to avoid it but Smashem manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Garov to the ground. Garov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smashem closes the distance and clinches up with Garov, looking for a takedown. Smashem pushes Garov against the cage but Garov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Smashem tries to clinch but Garov is having none of it.
And Garov tries to counter it with a takedown but Smashem pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Smashem fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Smashem. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown attempt by Smashem or perhaps it was just good defense by Garov, which made it look bad.
Smashem looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Garov is fending him off so far but Smashem persists. Nope, Garov circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Garov gets a clinch.
Garov has clasped his hands together around Smashem's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Garov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Smashem is bucking up trying to escape but Garov cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Garov! Smashem is hurt baaadly! Garov is firing away with more strikes - Smashem is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
