Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Vos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, One Wonder!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paulsen Ambrosius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Wonder misses.
Wonder throws a looping overhand right but Vos ducks down to avoid it.
No luck for Vos with that takedown attempt.
Wonder lands a lovely overhand right.
Wonder getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Wonder throws a lazy uppercut
and Vos counters with a single leg into guard. Wonder didn't expect that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vos sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Wonder's guard.

Vos is keen to just control but Wonder is a slippery customer.

Vos is really struggling to control Wonder but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Vos is pressing down on Wonder's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wonder is holding on for now.
Vos looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Vos seems to be working for a kimura but Wonder defends the submission attempt.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Vos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wonder's head.
Vos wants to take a breather but Wonder is having none of it.
Vos lands strikes from half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wonder can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vos is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wonder is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Wonder looks to score with a jab to the body but Vos is just out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Wonder. Vos does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wonder drops Vos with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Vos looks back up at him and smiles so Wonder waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Vos is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
One Wonder dominated that round.
That's time! Vos's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Vos staying out of range there.
Vos changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Wonder throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Vos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vos.
Wonder lands a slapping body shot.
Wonder misses with a hook. Vos ducked under it nicely.
Vos fires out a quick counter leg kick but Wonder just manages to avoid it.

Wonder throws a shot from downtown. Vos moves away and avoids it.
Vos feinted with a counter takedown.

Vos takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Wonder bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Vos's head backwards.
Vos blocks a jab.
Vos drops down looking for a counter takedown but Wonder sprawls and moves away.
Wonder lands with a straight right. Vos didn't see that one coming.
One Wonder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wonder lands a big uppercut and Vos crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Vos looks OK. Wonder waves Vos back to his feet!
Oh Vos is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wonder scores with a hook to the body. Vos takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wonder sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Vos's defenses. It connects perfectly with Vos's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). One Wonder!
