Batson doesn't manage to clinch there - Mar circles away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Mar swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Batson is now in Mar's guard. A big mistake from Mar there, giving up the dominant position!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mar is trying to keep Batson in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mar is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Batson is looking to escape.
Mar working over Batson with some ground and pound. Batson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Mar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Batson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mar has managed to get both his arms back between Batson's legs - danger averted.
Mar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Mar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Batson defends well and Mar ends up having to push Batson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Oh Batson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Mar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Mar cracks Batson with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
