Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wang Hua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Rabago!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabago tries to bum rush Hua with a series of wild strikes but Hua uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rabago throws a shot to the body.
Hua tries to clinch up.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rabago! But no joy.
Hua doesn't manage to clinch there - Rabago circles away.
A head kick misses from Hua.
Rabago swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hua feinted with a counter takedown.
Rabago fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hua changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rabago tries to avoid it but Hua manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rabago to the ground. Rabago escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rabago drops Hua with a beautiful combination! Hua stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rabago is looking for the KO!
Hua is rocked!
It looks like Wang Hua has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rabago throws a right hand that Hua ducks under and follows up with a left that Hua also avoids with ease.
Oh Hua is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hua misses with a head kick.
Hua seems to have got his legs back now.
Rabago lands with a big right hook that stumbles Hua - he's out on his feet here! Rabago follows up with another monster hook that separates Hua from consciousness! Hua falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Rabago stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Adam Rabago!
