Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hattori Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Collin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanzo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is If It Means Alot To You. The key to victory for Hattori Hanzo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collin looks for a takedown but Hanzo sprawls well.
Collin needs to keep his hands up - Hanzo had a free shot at his head there.
Hanzo looks to score with a jab to the body but Collin is just out of range.
Hanzo throws a hook but Collin avoids it easily.
Collin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hanzo swivels and escapes.
Collin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hattori Hanzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Collin.
Hanzo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Collin looks gassed!
Hanzo drops Collin with a big left hand and mounts him. Collin is in big trouble!
Collin is rocked!
It looks like Edward Collin has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hanzo tries to control but Collin wriggling away.
Collin is still in real trouble! Can Hanzo finish him?
Collin seems to have recovered his senses.

Collin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Hanzo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hanzo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Collin sprawling to the canvas! Collin rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hanzo finish him?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hanzo throws a right hand that Collin ducks under and follows up with a left that Collin also avoids with ease.
Hattori Hanzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hanzo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Hanzo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Collin has him pressed against the cage.
Hanzo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hanzo lands a big shot that drops Collin! Can he finish him?
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Collin can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hanzo wants to stand but Collin has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hanzo gets to his feet - Collin follows without any prompting.
Collin is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hanzo is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Collin.
Collin walks into a stiff left hand from Hanzo.
A cross from Hanzo lands.
Hanzo moves into the clinch.
Hanzo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Collin has him pressed against the cage.

Hanzo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hanzo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Hanzo fails to land with a series of punches.
Hanzo throws a looping overhand right but Collin ducks down to avoid it.
A punch combination from Hanzo misses.
Collin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Collin looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Hanzo is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Collin tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Collin working for a guillotine from mount but Hanzo is in no mood to give up.
Collin unloads with some shots from mount but Hanzo bucks and avoids them well.

Hanzo is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Collin thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Collin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hanzo is looking to escape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hanzo trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Collin throws a wild left hand from mount and Hanzo manages to wriggle his way back to half guard.
Hanzo wants to get back to his feet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Good exchange - Hanzo coming out on top.
Hanzo misses with a straight right.
Collin defending well as Hanzo loads up on a big left hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Collin throws a head kick that misses.
Hanzo cracks a nice hook into Collin's ribs.
Collin shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanzo sprawls well. He's pushed Collin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Collin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hanzo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Edward Collin's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Collin throws a head kick but Hanzo moves out of range.
Hanzo throws a shot from downtown. Collin moves away and avoids it.
Hanzo cracks Collin with an open hand slap.
Hanzo tries to close the distance and clinch up but Collin swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hanzo misses with a hook. Collin ducked under it nicely.
Hanzo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hattori Hanzo is winning the standup battle so far.
Hanzo moves out of range of the body kick.
Collin wants to clinch up but Hanzo keeps it at a distance.
Hanzo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Hanzo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Collin is controlling him.

Hanzo wants to stand and escape but Collin is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hanzo is wriggling around but Collin manages to pass to half guard.
Hanzo tries to kick Collin off but Collin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Collin perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hanzo is trying to stand back up but Collin is controlling him
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Collin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hanzo as he jumps to the side.
Collin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Collin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Collin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hanzo throws a lazy right hand but Collin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hanzo tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Collin counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Collin moves into full mount! Hanzo won't be happy about that!

Hanzo is squirming around, avoiding Collin's attempts to control the action.

Collin jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hanzo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hanzo and Collin has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Hanzo is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Collin asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Hattori Hanzo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Collin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
