Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Emporio Cannabino (ranked 6079 p4p, 560 weight class) and Samir Mourani (ranked 4142 p4p, 464 weight class). Cannabino comes into the arena with Ludacris - Blueberry yum yum blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mourani swats away the attempt to clinch by Cannabino.
Mourani shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cannabino as he avoids it easily.
Cannabino throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mourani.
Mourani feints the counter takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Mourani has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Cannabino moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cannabino jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cannabino lands with a nice combination. Mourani backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Samir Mourani has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cannabino is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A nice left hand lands by Cannabino.
Mourani tries to break free but Cannabino pushes him back against the cage.
Cannabino cracks Mourani with a nice body shot.
Cannabino lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Mourani backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mourani tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Cannabino's elbow.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cannabino creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Cannabino keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mourani's efforts to push away.
Cannabino lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Mourani tries to work over Cannabino's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Emporio Cannabino tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
