The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lahti throws an overhand right that lands on Lo Zizio's shoulder, as Lo Zizio tries to avoid the shot.
Lo Zizio half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Lo Zizio has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lahti throws a shot from downtown. Lo Zizio moves away and avoids it.
Lahti scores with a jab.

It looks like Ciccio Lo Zizio has been cut.
Lahti throws a body shot but no joy.
Lahti bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lo Zizio's head.

Ciccio Lo Zizio's cut is getting worse.
Lo Zizio tries for a takedown but Lahti sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lahti looks to throw the jab but Lo Zizio is out of range.
Lahti slaps away a takedown attempt from Lo Zizio, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ciccio Lo Zizio. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lahti scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lo Zizio doesn't seem bothered though.

A slow jab from Lahti misses its intended target.

Lahti drops Lo Zizio with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lo Zizio looks back up at him and smiles so Lahti waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Lo Zizio is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lo Zizio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lahti swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Lo Zizio seems to have got his legs back now.
