The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minakov thuds a left hand into Lovell's body.
Lovell shoots for a double leg takedown but Minakov sprawls well. He's pushed Lovell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice uppercut lands for Minakov. That snapped Lovell's head back.
Minakov with a nice cross.
Minakov slips a jab and a cross from Lovell.
A looping hook to the body misses from Minakov. Lovell does a little dance to reset his feet.

Minakov stuffs the takedown attempt from Lovell. Lovell gets slowly back to his feet.
Minakov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lovell wants to clinch up but Minakov keeps it at a distance.
Minakov tries to keep at a distance but Lovell has taken the fight into the clinch.

Lovell jumps guard but Minakov turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

A frustrated look appears on Minakov's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Minakov lands a nice shot to the body.
Minakov is looking to break free of the clinch but Lovell has double underhooks.

Minakov fakes the body blow, causing Lovell to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Lovell goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
