Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Will Wrecks (ranked 4435 p4p, 0 weight class) and TX Running (ranked 5071 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Will Wrecks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, TX Running!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Running is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wrecks's half guard.
Running working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Wrecks is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Wrecks is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Running pulls his head out easily.
Running slows the pace down in half guard.
Wrecks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
It looks like Running might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wrecks is trying to maintain the position but Running is very close to passing his half guard.
Running controlling the action here.

Running looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Running is controlling the pace.
Let's hope that Running has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Running is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Running has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Running controlling his opponent.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Running.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Running is continuing to stall.
Wrecks tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Running fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Running controlling the pace for now.

Wrecks wants to control but Running is having none of it.
Running controlling the position easily from mount.
Running's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Running in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Running content just to control the position here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Running gets a takedown into half guard.
Running with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
TX Running has got the better of the ground game so far.

Running has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Running stands up and beckons Wrecks to join him on the feet.
Wrecks tries to clinch but Running moves out of range.

Running has closed the distance and engaged Wrecks in a clinch.

Running has picked Wrecks up - he's going for a ride! Running dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Running performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Running lands with a punch from half guard.
Still in half guard, Running seems content to control.
Running seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Running is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wrecks doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Running.
Running perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wrecks wants to control but Running is keeping busy.

Running stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Wrecks moves in looking to clinch but Running pushes him off.

Running closes the distance and clinches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wrecks misses with some punches.

Running has clasped his hands together around Wrecks's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Running controls the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
More stalling from Running.
Wrecks is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Wrecks's face as Running controls the position.

TX Running showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!



Running bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Running moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Running working the head with strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Running has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Wrecks misses with a left hand

and Running counters by moving into the clinch.

Running has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wrecks clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Running softening up his opponent with strikes here.
Running just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Running. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Running controlling the positon.
Yet more stalling tactics from Running.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Running not allowing Wrecks to control his hands.
Running has good solid back control here.
You can see the frustration on Wrecks's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Running controlling the position well here. Wrecks rolled but Running kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The adventures of Running the control monster continue. Boring.
Wrecks wants to escape the position.
Running scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Wrecks is looking for a way out.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Running controlling the positon.
Will Wrecks has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
TX Running is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Wrecks is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

And that's the end of the fight!
TX Running comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Running has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
