Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Goldstein (ranked 4444 p4p, 4093 weight class) and Anderson Todd (ranked 334 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldstein comes to the cage accompanied by Hava Nagila. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Goldstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Todd! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldstein moves out of range as Todd strikes. Goldstein on the wrong end of a nice hook. Todd misses with a hook. Goldstein thinks about countering with a head kick. Todd lunges at Goldstein with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Goldstein's hand.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Goldstein. Todd is trying to control Goldstein's posture but Goldstein avoids it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Todd is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goldstein is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Todd is trying to get back to half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Goldstein staying calm. Todd tries to get back to half guard but can't. Goldstein in side control, just content to control the action for now. Todd taking a bit of punishment here - Goldstein scoring with strikes.

 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Todd takes a swing at Goldstein's ribcage but misses. Goldstein is looking for a counter combo. Todd bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Goldstein's head. Todd lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Goldstein circles away quickly and effectively. Anderson Todd is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Todd throws a lazy right hand but Goldstein sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Todd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Goldstein moves away. Todd misses with a wild combination.

Goldstein is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Todd's half guard. Goldstein sitting and controlling from the half guard. Todd is looking to control Goldstein's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Todd avoid being mounted? Goldstein frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Goldstein controlling the position easily from mount. Todd is wriggling around trying to escape.

A shot to the liver by Todd. Beautiful body shot. Goldstein tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Todd throws out a counter right but Goldstein avoids it with no problem. Todd throws a nice looking combination but Goldstein bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Todd cracks Goldstein with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Goldstein avoids the body shot from Todd.

Goldstein shoots in and gets a takedown into Todd's guard. Todd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Todd is looking to regain half guard here but Goldstein keeps moving and retains side control. Goldstein slows the pace down. Todd on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Joe Goldstein overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Goldstein is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Todd knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Goldstein has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Todd throws a right and a left that Goldstein avoids nicely.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Todd struggling a bit here. Goldstein controlling the position. Todd tries to bench press Goldstein off him but Goldstein keeps the position. Goldstein controls the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Todd regains half guard. Goldstein controlling the action here. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Goldstein shoots in but Todd avoids the takedown attempt easily. Anderson Todd seems to be getting the better of the standup. Todd throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Goldstein wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Goldstein doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Goldstein closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Todd's guard. Todd looking to control.

 That's three minutes gone in the round. Todd tries to bum rush Goldstein with a series of wild strikes but Goldstein uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Todd blocks a head kick by Goldstein.
Todd stuns Goldstein with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. No joy there for Todd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Goldstein throws a big counter combination but Todd scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Goldstein shoots in for a double leg but Todd sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Goldstein gets the takedown into side control. Todd prevents Goldstein from moving into mount. Todd seems a little lost for a moment, as Goldstein dominates the positioning.
Goldstein has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Todd throws a body shot but no joy. A little feinted left hand from Goldstein on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Goldstein takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Todd misses with a double jab
and Goldstein decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Todd's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Todd pulls Goldstein in to control the position. Goldstein content to stall in guard here. Goldstein stopping the sweep attempt from Todd. Joe Goldstein is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Goldstein slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Anderson Todd has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Todd is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Anderson Todd. I think Goldstein has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
