Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brodie Rivera (ranked 2725 p4p, 22682 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Sss Sss has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera throws a head kick but Sss moves out of range.
And Sss responds with a good body kick, but Rivera manages to step out the way in time.
Rivera lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
That has opened up Sss Sss's cut even more.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rivera closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Sss's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sss can't keep his opponent in guard - Rivera advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Rivera lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Rivera is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Sss to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Sss shrugs it off.
