The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGary shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mike sprawls well. Mike wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGary gets slowly back to his feet.
Mike fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McGary closes the distance and pushes Mike back into the cage.
McGary is trying to drag Mike to the mat but Mike just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A left hand lands to the body for McGary.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGary looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mike tries to keep at a distance but McGary has taken the fight into the clinch.
McGary has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mike clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Mike really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGary. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and Mike counters with a nice body kick.

McGary is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

McGary shoots in but no luck this time.
And Mike responds with a good body kick, but McGary manages to step out the way in time.
