Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kugus Amiga (ranked 23241 p4p, 23351 weight class) and Rico Salvacion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 73 - 68 - 8, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kugus Amiga! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 64 - 79 - 9, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion misses with a takedown and Amiga makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Salvacion really felt that one! Amiga misses with a kick to the body.
Amiga drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion keeping moving, preventing Amiga from controlling successfully. Salvacion being controlled here, momentarily. Amiga's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Amiga won't allow Salvacion to get back to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Salvacion pulls Amiga in close to his closed guard and prevents Amiga from doing any damage or advancing position.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Amiga fails with a takedown attempt from distance. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Amiga is defended easily by Salvacion.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion fails with the takedown. Amiga lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Salvacion was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion trying to control the action but Amiga is working from the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion in side control, just content to control the action for now. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rico Salvacion will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Salvacion dives in and scores a takedown into Amiga's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvacion is one step ahead there. Salvacion controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Salvacion is continuing to stall.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Salvacion dives in and scores a takedown into Amiga's guard. Amiga controlling the position. Salvacion controls from within his opponent's guard. Salvacion has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head. It's preventing any offense from Salvacion, at least for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Salvacion engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Salvacion trying to control the position from guard on top but Amiga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Rico Salvacion showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Salvacion throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Salvacion is in Amiga's guard. Salvacion wants to control from the top but Amiga keeps moving. Salvacion won't allow Amiga to sweep him here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Amiga controlling Salvacion's posture.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion stays in close to Amiga's body and controls the position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Amiga tries to land a sweep but no joy.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga is pulling down on Salvacion's head. It's preventing any offense from Salvacion, at least for the moment.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Amiga closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Amiga taking a breather here.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Further stalling from Amiga.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Salvacion takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Amiga tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kugus Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Amiga trying to control the action but Salvacion is working from the bottom.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rico Salvacion is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Amiga shoots and misses
and Salvacion moves into the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kugus Amiga. I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
