With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thibaud Van Lierde! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ace Deleon! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deleon dives in and grabs Van Lierde's left leg, looking for a takedown. Van Lierde pushes down on Deleon's head and hops out. Van Lierde changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Van Lierde swats away the attempt to clinch by Deleon. Van Lierde definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Deleon tries to clinch but Van Lierde moves out of range. Deleon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Deleon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Van Lierde lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fernando Madureira! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Danga de danga de dang - Madureira scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Aron Vazquez has been cut. Madureira shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Vazquez counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Madureira misses with a body punch.
Vazquez breaks from the clinch.
Vazquez bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Madureira's head. Vazquez scores with a one two! Madureira had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Vazquez fails in his attempt to clinch. Madureira lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Madureira connects with a body shot that sends Vazquez's belly button to the back. Vazquez swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vazquez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Madureira takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Vazquez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Madureira. Madureira shoots in looking for a takedown but Vazquez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Madureira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Vazquez tries to counter by clinching up but Madureira breaks away and moves out of range. Aron Vazquez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Vazquez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Madureira keeping moving, preventing Vazquez from controlling successfully. Vazquez looking to sit in guard and control but Madureira gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Vazquez has his foot on Madureira's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Madureira works his way back into a safe position though.

Madureira pushes Vazquez up against the cage in a clinch. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vazquez tries to break the clinch but Madureira is controlling the position. Vazquez tries to circle away but Madureira has him pinned against the cage.
Madureira's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Vazquez throws a wild body kick that Madureira sees coming a mile off. Madureira throws a counter combo. The fighters circle momentarily. Madureira darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vazquez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Madureira manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Vazquez slaps away a takedown attempt from Madureira, before circling back to the center of the mat. Vazquez swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Vazquez tries to keep at a distance but Madureira has taken the fight into the clinch. We've been informed that Madureira has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Madureira prevents Vazquez from breaking the clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Vazquez throws an elbow but misses. Madureira keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Vazquez's efforts to push away. Vazquez tries to work over Madureira's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Vazquez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Vazquez looks to land a combination but Madureira avoids it well. Fernando Madureira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Madureira shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vazquez as he avoids it easily. Vazquez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Madureira. Vazquez is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Madureira.

and Mullins counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mikkelberg! Mikkelberg is trying to improve his position. Mikkelberg is being controlled here. Mikkelberg takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Mullins lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Mikkelberg wants to get back to his feet. Mikkelberg tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mullins wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mullins lands a nice forearm strike. Mullins creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mullins cracks Mikkelberg with a big right hand but Mikkelberg just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Mullins wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mikkelberg, who protects the arm well. Mullins in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Mullins connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mikkelberg some visible discomfort.
Mullins tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mullins has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Mullins is chipping away with strikes.

Cleto clinches. A short right from Cleto on the inside. Cleto swings wildly with an uppercut but Chang uses good head movement to avoid it. Chang wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cleto lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Chang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cleto's coach down at Gym To Nica was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cleto's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Chang wants to land a leg kick but Cleto is out of range. Chang really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. A head kick misses from Chang.

No joy there for Demirov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rice gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Amir Demirov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Rice. Demirov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Rice is looking to clinch. Demirov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rice doesn't seem bothered though. Jab from Demirov.

Rice misses with a left hand and Demirov counters with a stiff right hand. Rice moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Rice takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Rice is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Demirov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Demirov sizes up Rice with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Demirov dips to his left and cracks Rice with an uppercut! Rice is still on wobbly legs! Can Demirov finish him? Rice throws a jab when Demirov was well out of range. Rice seems to have recovered his senses. Rice on the wrong end of a nice hook. Rice rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Demirov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Demirov lands with an uppercut that bounces Rice off the cage and back into range. Demirov jabs Rice right on the nose. Rice blinks but takes it well. Demirov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rice. Amir Demirov is winning the standup battle so far. Rice misses with a jab, cross combination.

Rice is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Demirov with a body shot. Demirov misses the body punch letting Rice counter with a right hand. Demirov ducks under a wild hook from Rice. Demirov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A jab from Demirov misses. Rice misses with a body punch

Rice throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Demirov sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rice throws a hook but Demirov avoids it easily. Rice takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Demirov dips to his left and cracks Rice with an uppercut! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rice tries to close the distance and clinch but Demirov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Demirov keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rice. Demirov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and Demirov counters with a lovely straight right hand! Rice takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fighters circling - Rice throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rice has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Demirov finds it's way round the side to connect with Rice's head. Rice tries to bum rush Demirov with a series of wild strikes but Demirov uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rice misses with a right hand and Demirov counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Demirov lands with a shot to the body. Rice throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Demirov counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A shot to the liver by Demirov. Beautiful body shot. Demirov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rice looks to land a right hand but Demirov moved out of range. Rice throws a predictable looking body shot
and Demirov counters with a stiff right hand. Demirov lands with a nice combination. Rice backs away looking to recover. Nice body punch from Demirov. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Amir Demirov dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Demirov steps in with a hook that catches Rice right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Demirov follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Rice looks absolutely devastated.
