With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hardeep Nijjar! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yukihiro Shimada.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nijjar throws an ugly left hook that misses

It looks like Hardeep Nijjar has been cut. Sakamoto looks to throw a body kick and Nijjar counters with a lovely straight right hand! Nijjar fails to land with a series of punches.

Nijjar's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sakamoto under the eye. Nijjar connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sakamoto momentarily.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Hardeep Nijjar. Well Nijjar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. We've been hearing good reports from Chikorita's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Sansho clobbers Chikorita with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Sansho throws a lazy right hand but Chikorita sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Everett. Birdwhistle does a little dance to reset his feet. Birdwhistle sizes up Everett with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Everett throws out a powerful jab. Birdwhistle needs to keep his hands up - Everett had a free shot at his head there. Everett leaves Birdwhistle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Everett fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Everett misses with an uppercut. Birdwhistle has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Everett finds it's way round the side to connect with Birdwhistle's head. A telegraphed right hand from Birdwhistle misses the target. Birdwhistle shoots in for a takedown but Everett shows good takedown defense. Birdwhistle takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Birdwhistle throws a head kick that misses. Birdwhistle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Birdwhistle is rocked! The fight stays on the outside here - Birdwhistle looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Oh Birdwhistle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jake Everett seems to be getting the better of the standup. Birdwhistle misses with a shot to the body and Everett counters with a crisp right that sends Birdwhistle to the canvas! Everett follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nigel Greer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Andre Pereira! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Hirohito Nitta.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pereira looks to land a right hand but Greer moved out of range. It looked like Greer wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Greer keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pereira shoots in for a takedown but Greer shows good takedown defense. Pereira misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pereira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Greer's waist but Greer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pereira off to one side. Greer throwing a counter right hand but Pereira manages to avoid it. Nigel Greer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andre Pereira. Greer works the jab nicely.
It looks like Andre Pereira has been cut. Greer with a body punch. A glancing blow. Greer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pereira tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Greer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Greer wants it to stay on the feet. Greer misses with a right hand
and Pereira counters with a takedown into side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pereira thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pereira tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pereira has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
