Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gray Dixon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Ssempa!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ssempa ducks under a wild hook from Dixon.
Ssempa tries to clinch there but Dixon circles away.
Ssempa blocks a jab.
Dixon keeps the fight on the outside.
Ssempa shoots in for a takedown but Dixon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dixon misses with a body punch
and Ssempa counters with a series of strikes. Dixon will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ssempa wants to clinch
so Dixon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dixon distracts Ssempa with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Dixon lands a couple of elbows.
Dixon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ssempa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Dixon is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dixon looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

Dixon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Ssempa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dixon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ssempa can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dixon controls the pace.
Ssempa is looking to stand up but Dixon isn't so interested in that idea.
Dixon passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Ssempa tries to roll over but Dixon keeps him under control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Dixon moves into full mount! Ssempa won't be happy about that!
Ssempa is in a horrible position here. Dixon smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Dixon looking to control and managing it successfully.
Dixon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ssempa looks a forlorn figure.
Ssempa can't escape the position.
Dixon breaks from Ssempa's wrist control and lands an elbow.
 Ssempa is rocked!
Oooh a big shot lands for Dixon! Ssempa is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Roux did well to prevent Johnson getting side control.
Johnson is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Roux manages to get to full guard.
Roux had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Johnson defends it easily.
Roux has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.
Johnson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Roux has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Johnson is looking to defend but Roux has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Johnson! Roux pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Johnson taps out and this one is all over!
