Mosquera seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Magomedov throws a series of punches but Kappa avoids them all with ease.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Magomedov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kappa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Magomedov's sensitive parts.

and Kappa finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Davis Kappa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
