Kataski closes the distance and clinches. Rahimov trying to control the position but instead, Kataski has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rahimov into the cage. Kataski throws a head punch that misses. A body shot lands from Kataski.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Rakhivokov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Okropir! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okropir's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Okropir duly obliges. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rakhivokov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Okropir has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Okropir and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Rakhivokov gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Okropir lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Okropir throws a sloppy head kick and Rakhivokov moves out of range easily. Okropir with a hook. Rakhivokov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Okropir drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Rakhivokov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Okropir on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Okropir controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Let's hope that Okropir has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Rakhivokov keeping moving, preventing Okropir from controlling successfully.

Rakhivokov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Okropir defends it easily. Okropir wants to pass the guard but Rakhivokov is keeping the position. Okropir sitting in guard, not really doing much.
 The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Okropir is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rakhivokov pulls him back up using the underhooks. Rakhivokov is looking to break free of the clinch but Okropir has double underhooks.
Okropir ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Okropir no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Okropir keeping moving, preventing Rakhivokov from controlling successfully. Okropir trying to control the position here. Okropir wants to stand and escape but Rakhivokov is having none of it. Okropir lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Rakhivokov is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Rakhivokov working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Okropir. Okropir works a leg free and moves into half guard. Okropir not doing much here.
We've been informed that Okropir has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Okropir wants to free his trapped foot but Rakhivokov is holding on for dear life with his legs. Okropir stalling.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Rakhivokov won't allow Okropir to pass to mount. Rakhivokov tries to roll over but Okropir keeps him under control.
Okropir gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Okropir lands with a kick to the temple. Rakhivokov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Ali Rakhivokov has been cut. Okropir shoots in for a takedown but Rakhivokov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Okropir scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Good shot there by Okropir.

Rakhivokov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rakhivokov moves forwards but Okropir connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Okropir shoots in and bounces Rakhivokov off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rakhivokov is wriggling around but Okropir manages to pass to half guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joris scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Parker's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Joris connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Parker scrambles back to his feet.

Parker is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Joris is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Joris is wriggling around but Parker manages to pass to half guard.

Joris is kicking away at Parker from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Parker grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with Joris trying to push Parker off... Joris taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.

With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denga Sanyu! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sanyu lands with an uppercut that bounces Webster off the cage and back into range. Sanyu cracks a nice hook into Webster's ribs. Sanyu lands a head shot. Webster takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Sanyu looking to score a takedown here. Webster is defending well but Sanyu drives through and ends up in Webster's guard.
Webster is rocked! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Sanyu controls from within his opponent's guard. Webster is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Webster can't keep his opponent in guard - Sanyu advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Sanyu is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sanyu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Webster is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sanyu controlling the action here. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sanyu dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Webster takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Sanyu lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Webster falls backwards - clearly groggy! Sanyu dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scooter Dahan (ranked 1987 p4p, 2296 weight class) and Freddy Reyes (ranked 206 p4p, 237 weight class). Reyes has chosen Young, Wild and Free as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Scooter Dahan! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Freddy Reyes! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reyes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Dahan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Freddy Reyes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reyes cracks Dahan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dahan slips under a jab. Dahan appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Dahan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reyes. Reyes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dahan. Reyes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dahan.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Reyes as Dahan shoots in. Dahan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Reyes doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Dahan goes for a double leg but Reyes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reyes continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scooter Dahan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Reyes is stalling here.

That took the wind out of him momentarily. No luck with that takedown attempt from Dahan. Dahan staying out of range there. Reyes throws a body shot but no joy. Nice body punch from Reyes. A low kick from Dahan misses enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab. Reyes jabs at Dahan's body. Reyes lands with a hook. Dahan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice shot by Reyes. Dahan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reyes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dahan somewhat. A countering left hand to the body from Reyes misses. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Reyes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dahan misses with a left hand and Reyes counters with a lovely straight right hand!  That's one minute gone in the round. Dahan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reyes is fending him off so far but Dahan persists. Nope, Reyes circles away and we're back to standing. Dahan shoots in but no luck this time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scooter Dahan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dahan fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Reyes has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Reyes throws a nice looking combination but Dahan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reyes throws a shot to the body.

Dahan has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Reyes avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Dahan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Reyes stalling against the cage.

Reyes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dahan is defended easily by Reyes. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Freddy Reyes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Donk. Reyes catches Dahan right on the button with a cross.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Reyes throws a shot to the body.
Reyes lands a head shot. Reyes scores with a nice head shot. Reyes moves into range and connects with a jab. Reyes cracks Dahan with an open hand slap. Reyes throws out a loose jab but Dahan uses good head movement to avoid it. Reyes lands a jab to Dahan's midsection. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Reyes scores with a jab to the head.
Reyes ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Reyes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dahan moves away.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Dahan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Dahan with a poor takedown and Reyes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Reyes is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Dahan rather than just go for the knockout. Reyes jabs Dahan right on the nose. Dahan blinks but takes it well. Dahan goes for a double leg but Reyes avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reyes continues to drive forward. A little jabbing left from Reyes on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Reyes stalling in the clinch.

The crowd are getting on Reyes's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch. Reyes has Dahan pushed against the cage.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes just leaning against Dahan, taking a breather. Freddy Reyes is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Reyes lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dahan backwards. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dahan looking for a takedown.
And that's the end of the fight! Freddy Reyes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Reyes winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
