Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicky Boggs!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jerman shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jerman showed some decent athleticism there.
Jerman tries to pass the half guard into mount. Boggs knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Boggs tries to roll over but Jerman keeps him under control.
Boggs moves into full guard.

Jerman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Boggs has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jerman has managed to get both his arms back between Boggs's legs - danger averted.
Jerman with a flurry of punches that miss.

Boggs is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Boggs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Jerman's guard.
Jerman wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Boggs manages to pass to side control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jerman has one foot on Boggs's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Boggs looking for a triangle here. Jerman is fighting it but it looks tight! Boggs pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Jerman is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ewing throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A slapping leg kick lands for Ewing.
Gracie stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ewing.
Ewing misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ewing fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Gracie is out of range.
Ewing scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Ewing misses with a jab, cross combination.

Ewing closes the distance and clinches.
Gracie takes a knee right on the jaw!

McGown tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mason was well out of range. Poor timing from McGown.
Mason slips under a jab.

McGown comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Mason drops his hands momentarily. McGown doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Mason staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Mason doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
